What is a semi skirted PCR plate?

Semi-Skirted PCR Plates feature a 7 mm high skirt almost the complete plate edge. These plates are absolute for automated approaches and other robotic methods.

What is the difference between DNase and RNase?

In the lab, DNase is a recombinant endonuclease that nonspecifically catalyzes the degeneration of both single and double-stranded DNA and DNA-RNA hybrids in varying lengths. RNase A is used to eliminate RNA from samples used for DNA analysis.
